HOG HUNTS
Stand Hunts
Camp David Hunt Club has access to 1100 acres of private land located just East of Orlando. Half
day stand hunts start at $150.00/person with full day stand hunts starting at $250.00/person.
Hunters will be delivered to their stands from a designated meeting
place. Price does not include transportation to and from the airport.
Morning hunters will be picked up from their stand at request
or around 10:30am. After the morning break, afternoon hunters will
return to their stands around
2:00pm with pickup just after dusk or upon request. Camp David Hunt
Club has a number of excellent tree stand locations and keeps areas
corned. You'll see plenty of sign. The wooded hammocks are home to
hogs, deer, and Osceola turkey.
Running with the Pack (Night)
Get your snake boots on as we head out by airboat with Camp David Hunt Club's Bay and Catch Dogs along the St. Johns River public/sovereign lands from an airboat with Q-beams to illuminate hog movement. Dogs are released on desirable hogs. No guns or bows. Catch and release or knife kills only. These hunts are not for the faint of heart. Experience the legacy of dog hunting on a whole new level as you hit the marshes running and ride the land in pursuit of wild boar. Catch and Release, Trophy Kill, or Field Process options available.
This is for serious adrenaline junkies in good physical condition. Dry running of the airboat (riding on dry land) is possible and likely. This hunt is not advised for those with back, neck, or other physical conditions that could be aggravated by rough bumping and bouncing. If you shouldn't ride a roller coaster, you should probably check out our other options.
